Director General invites you to be part of the IAOS-ISI 2024 Conference: to submit proposals for sessions, presentations and posters
The IAOS-ISI 2024 Mexico Conference, organised by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) of Mexico, the International Association of Official Statistics (IAOS) and the International Institute of Statistics (ISI), will bring together scientists from different fields, decision-makers and policy-makers from all over the world.
The Conference will be held on 15–17 May 2024 in Mexico City (Mexico). The Conference theme, “Improving Decision-Making for All”, points to statistics’ role as a valuable public good all users rely on to inform their decisions.
Dr. Jūratė Petrauskienė, Director General of the State Data Agency, who has been elected the Chair of the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) of the Conference, is responsible for the Conference programme. Dr. Jūratė Petrauskienė, together with Deputy Director General Inga Dr. Masiulaitytė-Šukevič and other members of the Scientific Programme Committee, will evaluate the submitted proposals for the Conference (individual presentations and posters, session proposals).
The deadline for submitting the session proposals has been extended to 13 November 2023, and individual presentations and posters can be submitted until 30 November 2023 on the official Conference website. The Scientific Programme Committee will announce its decision on the proposals on 15 January 2024.
