Where and how to report corruption
If you have knowledge of, or reasonable suspicion of, any criminal offence of a corrupt nature committed, being committed or intended to be committed by an employee of the State Data Agency, please report it:
– in writing;
– by calling the State Data Agency’s management reception in Vilnius: +370 656 97 121 (working days – from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday – from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.);
– by email: [email protected]
– the person authorized to carry out corruption prevention and control at the State Data Agency is Rita Pelanienė, Chief Specialist of the Legal Division of the State Data Agency, Tel.: +370 652 98 426.
When applying, please specify:
– full name;
– address (to provide a reply or to clarify the circumstances);
– full name and position of the employee of the State Data Agency whose actions are complained of;
– the actions complained of, which constitute a criminal offence of a corrupt nature, as well as the place, time, circumstances, persons who can confirm the circumstances, and any other circumstances which you consider relevant.
– when applying in writing, it is necessary to indicate on the envelope that it is addressed personally to the Director General, State Data Agency, Gedimino pr. 29, LT-01500 Vilnius.
The State Data Agency notes that the laws of the Republic of Lithuania prohibit defamation or falsely accusing another person of committing a crime. Such actions are subject to criminal liability under Article 236 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
The State Data Agency notes that it does not have the right or the authority to investigate criminal offences of a corrupt nature. The Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT) has such rights.

Corruption can be reported to the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania in writing, by calling the 24-hour hotline in Vilnius: +370 266 3333, by email: [email protected], by fax: +370 266 3307, or by leaving a message on the website of the Special Investigation Service.
Persons can contact directly the Special Investigation Service officials at the Statement Examination Division of the Administration Board, located in Vilnius, A. Jakšto g. 6, or at territorial divisions in Kaunas (Spaustuvininkų g. 7), Panevėžys (Vasario 16-osios g. 22), Šiauliai (Vilniaus g. 140), Klaipėda (Pilies g. 12A).
