A high-level meeting was held with representatives of the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia
On 20–21 March, Raimonds Lapiņš, newly appointed Director General of the Central Statistical Bureau of the Republic of Latvia, his Deputy Norberts Tālers and Dace Zīle, Head of the Analytical Service of the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia, arrived at the State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) for a high-level familiarization visit.
During the meeting, Dr Jūratė Petrauskienė, Director General of the Agency, presented the transformation of Statistics Lithuania into the State Data Agency, its new role and functions, discussed cooperation with other institutions.
