Recommendations for procurers purchasing survey services have been prepared
The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania), together with the Public Procurement Office, has prepared recommendations for procurers purchasing survey services.
The document contains basic recommendations for procurers regarding the preparation of technical specifications for the procurement of statistical survey, the basis of which is statistical data collected from respondents through interviewing. Sampling methods are used for its performance. For example, it is specified which parameters should be defined by the procurement officer, which information should be provided by the supplier in the survey report, etc.
Recommendations have been prepared based on the long-term experience of the State Data Agency in order to ensure that interview surveys are conducted more transparently, clearly and correctly, and their results are more accurate.
