Nature Research Centre datasets have been opened

Two data sets of the Nature Research Centre have been opened on the Lithuanian Open Data Portal.

The collection Haemorrhoidal parasites of birds publishes information about the hemosporid parasites of birds, which have spread throughout the world, except Antarctica, and which cause malaria, haemoproteosis and other diseases, studied and described by the scientific staff of the P. B. Šivickis Nature Research Centre. This information is based on Lund University's MalAvi database, which can be found here.

The collection Trematodes from Central and Eastern Europe publishes information about the vertebrate parasites-suckers (Thrematodes) prevalent in Eastern and Central Europe, and their holders, studied under the laboratory conditions of the scientific staff of the P. B. Šivickis Nature Research Centre.

The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) implements the project "Integration of State Information Resources into the Data Lake", which is financed by the Economic Recovery and Resilience Facility Plan "New Generation Lithuania" and the State budget of Lithuania.
