The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) has launched regular "DataLab" training sessions for municipal representatives. This is a unique opportunity to deepen practical knowledge about the Municipal DataLab tool, which enables data-driven decision-making in various areas, from emergency management to infrastructure planning.

During the above-mentioned training, real-life situations are analyzed, methods for identifying vulnerable population groups are discussed, and the most efficient allocation of municipal resources is examined.

Training sessions are led by Reda Švelniūtė, Analyst from the State Data Governance Group, along with other competent representatives from the State Data Agency. Each month, the team of specialists will not only present functionalities of this tool, but also demonstrate its practical applications in various municipal scenarios.  Analytical tasks may include emergency situations, where the DataLab tool can assist in decision-making. The Municipal DataLab enables precise assessment of demographic data for specific areas, identification of assistance needs, and optimization of urban planning.

Training sessions will take place on the last Friday of each month from 10 am to 11 am.

Municipal employees are invited to register and gain practical skills that will help them manage data more efficiently and make informed and based decisions for their communities.

Registration for the training is ongoing. You can find the registration link here.
