E-navigation map data has been opened
The Lithuanian Open Data Portal has opened the data collection of AB “Vidaus vandens kelių direkcija” (Lithuanian Inland Waterways Authority) E-navigation map information.
A comprehensive, wide-ranging set provides e-navigation map data for inland waterways. Depths, markings, tracks, objects and other geospatial information can be found in the aforementioned set.
Data on fairway guarantee characteristics and limits, depths, widths, turning radii and other information are provided in the order "On the approval of rules for the operation of inland waterways". Inland waters of Lithuania are governed by the Rules for European Inland Navigation.
The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) implements the project "Integration of State Information Resources into the Data Lake", which is financed by the Economic Recovery and Resilience Facility Plan "New Generation Lithuania" and the State budget of Lithuania.
