Data on refugees arriving at the Refugee Reception Centre have been opened

Data set on the refugees arriving at the Refugee Reception Centre has been opened on the Open Data Portal of Lithuania. The data set contains the date of birth, sex, type of programme, nationality, education, occupation and professional degree, date of arrival and date of departure.

The Refugee Reception Centre is a budgetary institution providing social services, reception, accommodation and state support to:

  • unaccompanied minors;
  • asylum seekers;
  • migrants who have crossed the border illegally;
  • victims of human trafficking;
  • displaced persons;
  • asylum beneficiaries.

Vulnerable persons accepted for accommodation in the Refugee Reception Centre in Rukla and the Naujininkai Refugee Camp in Vilnius:

  • unaccompanied minors;
  • pregnant women;
  • persons who have been subjected to torture;
  • persons with mental disorders;
  • persons with health problems;
  • persons of retirement age;
  • one of the parents with minor children;
  • families with minor children.

The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania) implements the project "Integration of State Information Resources into the Data Lake", which is financed by the Economic Recovery and Resilience Facility Plan "New Generation Lithuania" and the State budget of Lithuania.
