A dashboard was created for the 20th anniversary of Lithuania's membership in the EU and NATO
The State Data Agency (Statistics Lithuania), commemorating the 20th anniversary of Lithuania's membership in the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), has prepared a dashboard "20 years of EU membership: success figures".
You can find the dashboard here.
Lithuania's accession to the EU and NATO is one of the most significant political and economic decisions of Lithuania, which determined the country's progress and geopolitical security. On the scoreboard, you can find out how, since 2004 until today, the country's demographics, migration, culture, employment, wages, international trade, tourism, crime and other indicators have changed.
"The purpose of the above-mentioned scoreboard is to show what social and economic changes were made possible after our country had become part of the EU. This important occasion allows us to assess how much Lithuania and its people have achieved in 20 years, and to set new ambitious goals that we will pursue together with our allies in the future," Dr Jūratė Petrauskienė, Director General of the State Data Agency, noted.
