  • Preparing data for the Ontology
  • Configuring object types and actions using Ontology Manager
  • Trying out the visual tool Quiver and using it in Workshop

Ontology is a highly structured data storage format and an ecosystem for such data (a different paradigm than “tables”), enabling fast retrieval of records from large volumes of data and storing information not only about the data itself, but also about the exact semantic relationships between them.

Ontology Manager is a data lake tool used to create various ontology elements: object types, objects, actions, and links (relationships).

Workshop is a data lake tool that enables building interactive dashboards, applications, and maps without programming skills; visualizing data; preparing automated interactive reports; and even creating new information systems or registries.

Workshop and Ontology work together: Ontology defines what we have, and Workshop enables using it for everyday decision-making.
