GovTech Leaders 2025 Conference

The seventh annual GovTech Leaders conference – the largest GovTech event in the Baltic region – will take place on October 23. The conference brings together leaders from the public sector, technology, and innovation communities to explore how digital technologies are transforming public service delivery and governance.

One of this year’s key sessions, “AI in Governance: Dilemmas, Decisions, and the Case for Saying No,” will feature Vadimas Ivanovas, Head of the Governance Group at the State Data Agency of Lithuania. The discussion will critically examine the role of artificial intelligence in the public sector, with a focus on accountability, democratic values, and the importance of saying "no" when necessary to protect the public interest.

The 2024 edition of the conference welcomed over 25 international speakers from the UK, the US, and various European countries. It attracted 750 registered participants, with 250 attending on-site. This year, we expect around 300 in-person attendees and an even larger online audience.
