Event “Presentation of the possibilities of the Data Lake”

The aim of the event is to present the State Data Lake, its added value and its practical application in the public sector. The State Data Lake is a modern data management platform that enables fast, flexible and secure processing, aggregation and analysis of data collected from state information systems in a common ecosystem. This solution opens up new opportunities for institutions, both in terms of streamlining decision-making processes and improving public services.

The State Data Agency will present the Data Lake and share successful examples of data use, discuss the main challenges and opportunities related to data virtualisation in the public sector, and look at concrete projects where Data Lake solutions have already been applied.

The event will take place on 4 June 2025 from 10.00 to 13.00. The event will take place at the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania (Gedimino Ave. 51, Vilnius).

The presentations will be followed by an informal discussion, during which we will discuss and debate current topics in data management.
