The Statistical Board (hereinafter referred to as “the Board”) is an advisory body to the State Data Agency (hereinafter referred to as the “Agency”), the purpose of which is to make proposals to the Agency on the issues referred to in Article 7(1) of the Law on Official Statistics and State Data Governance of the Republic of Lithuania. The Statistical Board shall consist of delegated representatives of the Bank of Lithuania, other state and municipal institutions, the bodies using and/or managing official statistics, higher education institutions, research institutes, associations, respondents, the media and other interested bodies.
