Confidentiality and statistical data protection
All statistical data received by the State Data Agency are considered confidential, i.e. their use is ensured only for statistical purposes.
Confidential statistical data may be provided for scientific purposes in such a way that it is not possible to directly identify respondents. Confidential statistical data obtained for scientific purposes must be destroyed when they are no longer needed.
The following data of a statistical observation unit (except for a household and a natural person) are not considered confidential: code, name, type of economic activity, institutional sector, form of ownership, manufactured products according to the European Economic Community list (PRODCOM) and income from it.

General Data Protection Regulation
On 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data entered into force. We have prepared information on the implementation of the provisions of this Regulation at the State Data Agency.
